i had a great time. April and I were sat in the front, dead center. Not bad, especially since we almost didnt get in! (my name wasnt on the guest list). Brandi and the full band played about 5 songs and did short interviews between them. They asked the audience to write down questions for the band, and both mine and Aprils were read 😀 Off the top of my head, she played “late morning lullaby”, “josephine” (LOVE that song), “the story”, “my song”……and…..i think i’m forgetting one. After the taping was finished, the band stayed and played “someday never comes” (rare treat) and “hallelujah”. We got to say hi to brandi after the show. That girl is so cool…i even got a high five 🙂
my main goal (besides enjoying the show), was trying out my friends camera…….. hmmm..i’m kinda torn what i think of it. It doesnt do so well with concert photos (not many digital cameras do). It has a mechanism that wont fire the shot till its in focus. So there’s long delays, and only whats in the middle of the frame will be in focus,. The rest of the photo is blurred. This is the only shot that I ended up liking…. I like its movie abilities though (only took one till i got busted!). I’ll try it again at a future show.
In other news…i gotta finish these dolls! I’m pulling a all-nighter…..wish me luck. The goal is to have a printed copy to give the bands mom’s at Fridays show.
I shook her hand once, but NEVER got a high five… Lucky!
i dont even know why i got one…lol. it was over something April said. I just remember her saying “San Fran was gonna ROCK”, but think that came after.
