I didn’t even know until the zoo show, that brandi was doing a radio gig today. I didnt think i had a shot in hell of getting to be there…… but i got lucky!
About 5 other people from the againtoday forum were there too… so nice to see everyone again! I thought i was gonna have to wait all summer 😀
The station provided a mexican lunch before the gig, and then brought us into a “studio” for the show. It looked more like a tv studio then anything…. I got a place right in the front row.
I think the band played 6 songs, and then answered some questions between them…
I took ALOT of photos….. too many photos. I was so happy to be allowed to, that i went apeshit taking em! Guess i was having withdrawls…….
After the set, we were given cupcakes and got to take group photos with brandi. I was pretty happy about that, since she didnt do a signing at the zoo.
These kind of events are always a little stressful to me. You’ve got about 15 secs to ask a question and make a comment, before you’re interrupted by someone and have to move on. Least that’s my experience anyway. I wanted to know if she was gonna be singing the anthem at a game this summer…………. she thought hard, but doesn’t look like it 🙁
Attending events like this, and then spending a long night editing the photos/video is defintally my “perfect day”. Guess for the rest of summer i’ll have to “get off the brandi” and focus on school work… ((shudder))
