Today i ventured off to Barnes and noble, to browse their flash books
the goal was to find something that would help me with the paper doll project.
i LOVE Barnes and noble. and i LOVE computer/graphic books
i could literally sit there all day and read
and walk out with 10 books if i had the cash.
usually i order off of amazon, since the books are about $14 dollars cheaper
but today i wanted instant gratification
and bought a $40 book that i think will actually help me.
the book is cool so far! I’ve already read through 2 chapters
and already have new project ideas swimming though my head.
(i would sit and read the whole 600 pages if i didn’t have school work )
its a advanced flash book, that starts right at my level…… basic scripting
(i’m not a coder, i’m a designer……….. having to comprehend scripting DOES NOT come naturally for me)
Anyway……… one of the things that flash will let you do,
is let you “trace” over a video….frame by frame…….
i do this with pictures all the time………… but never knew you could do that with video.
cool!!!!!!!
of course brandi video images was the first thing in my head
and all i could think was, “what can i use? what do i got?”
i have always wanted to do a “ipod” scene on her?
where it would just be her black silhouette “rocking out” against some neon green background
we KNOW her rock star moves, and would totally know it was her ๐
that would be such a looong project to animate though.
considering i would probably need about 2-3 pictures per every second to make it look fluid.
no way i could freehand that………….
but tracing a outline?????
THAT I CAN DO!
so keep an eye out on youtube (or elsewhere) of video that you think would work……
i cant think of any off hand……. but maybe from this tour, stuff will be cropping up
all suggestions welcome ๐
I think that would be an awesome project! I look forward to seeing it. Chop, chop. ๐
Always cool stuff to work on, Rhianon! I can just see that project now! ๐
